Michael Schwartz is the founding partner and principal of Michael Schwartz & Associates. Originally from South Africa, Michael studied architecture and town planning at the University of Cape Town and at the Technion, emerging with an enriched global view of architecture, design, and urban planning.
As principal, Michael has overseen the design and execution of hotel projects, residential developments and houses, healthcare projects, offices, and public places of worship, both locally and abroad.
Michael’s also dedicates his time to research and teaching, and consults on a voluntary basis to various environmental action groups, preservation groups and municipal advisory boards, such as the new Jerusalem Master Planning Committee.
Having been raised on the Cape in Port Elizabeth and now living on the coast of the Mediterranean, Michael’s other passion is sailing the high seas.
